SVC Energy Supports 6 Schools in Zambia with Solar Power Systems
Reliable electricity plays an important role in creating a stable and productive learning environment. For many schools across Africa, however, unstable grid supply and frequent power interruptions can still affect daily classroom activities, administrative work, internet access, and basic lighting needs.
To support better energy access for education, SVC Energy successfully participated in a solar power project for 6 schools in Zambia, including Brave Heart Foundation School. Each school was equipped with an off-grid solar solution consisting of a 3.6kW solar inverter and a 2.56kWh lithium battery system, helping provide dependable backup power for essential daily operations.
This solution was designed for practical school use. It can support key electrical loads such as classroom lighting, office equipment, small electronic devices, internet routers, and other basic power needs. By using solar energy and lithium battery storage, the schools can reduce their dependence on unstable utility power and expensive fuel generators, while also lowering long-term operating costs.
For schools, energy reliability is not only about electricity. It is also about keeping lessons running smoothly, helping teachers prepare materials, allowing students to study in a brighter and safer environment, and supporting basic digital learning tools. A stable solar power system can make a meaningful difference in the daily experience of both teachers and students.
SVC Energy’s solar inverter and lithium battery solutions are built for reliable performance, efficient energy storage, and long service life. The lithium battery systems use high-quality LiFePO4 cells, which are known for safety, stability, and long cycle life. This makes them suitable for long-term energy storage applications in schools, homes, businesses, and community projects.
The Zambia school solar project reflects SVC Energy’s ongoing commitment to providing practical clean energy solutions for African communities. By supporting schools with reliable solar power systems, SVC Energy aims to contribute not only to renewable energy adoption, but also to education, community development, and a more sustainable future.
As demand for solar energy continues to grow across Africa, SVC Energy will keep working with local partners to deliver reliable solar inverter and lithium battery solutions for residential, educational, commercial, and industrial applications.
