    The Truth About Daily 0% Draining With ZESCO load shedding lasting up to 12 hours a day in Lusaka and the Copperbelt, Zambians are relying heavily on their backup systems.     The short answer is: Yes, consistently draining any lithium battery to 0% (100% Depth of Discharge or DoD) will accelerate its chemical degradation. However, the impact depends entirely on the quality of the cells inside your battery and how your Battery Management System (BMS) is configured.
